A combination skin can be described as two skin types occurring at the same time. A typical example of Combination Skin is when the nose, chin and forehead (T-zone) is oily and shiny but the cheeks and jaw line are flaky, dull and often feel tight, dry, and uncomfortable without a moisturiser. The T-zone may appear congested with open pores and is generally prone to blackheads and whiteheads, but will occasionally appear flaky in places (particularly on the nose) as a result of uneven dead skin cell shedding, rather than actual dryness. When choosing products, Combination Skin can be treated as two different skin types.
