Organic Skin Science

Hello, fellow beauty lovers! If you are on a hunt for the best toxin-free makeup to keep you glam & glowing during this spring season, stay on this page!

Today I’ll let you have a sneak peek in my makeup bag...

Primer

When I have to choose a primer, I always look for hydration + anti-ageing benefits + light formula. This primer ticks all the boxes. It's super light, absorbs quickly, leaves my skin perfectly smooth and helps my makeup stay in place all day. Absolute must-have!

Hydrating Face Mist

This might not be a makeup item, but without it, my beauty routine just wouldn’t be the same. Face mists make my skin look extra radiant and plump (even when I am jet lagged/sleep deprived). Also, when I need to do a touch up during the day, a spritz of this miraculous water makes it so much easier – the mist “softens” the makeup I already have on and allows me to blend it for a seamless finish.

Mineral Foundation

The thing I love most about mineral makeup is that it blends smoothly and seamlessly, giving me the most natural looking finish. Using my favourite super soft Vegan Kabuki Brush I manage to achieve perfect complexion in less than a minute.

Note: When I need extra coverage I apply La Mav’s Organic BB Cream prior to applying the Anti-Ageing Mineral Foundation - the combo works beautifully.

What To Try: La Mav Be Beautiful Starter Kit

Bronzer

I apply bronzer daily to make my complexion look healthy and fresh (even when it isn't), as well as to define my facial features. I really like La Mav's Sunkissed Bronzer, because the shade adapts to my skin tone, regardless of whether I am tanned or pale. Did I mention the products blends effortlessly and gives you a natural sun-kissed glow? My absolute fav!

Loose Mineral Eyeshadows

I love loose mineral eyeshadows in earthy tones because they allow me to define my eyes and create a smudged look with ease. When I am on the go I use my fingers to blend - I think it gives me a great colour payoff and more controlled application.
