Sweet Almond Oil

Regardless of whether your nails are weak and dry due to frequent nail polish application, too much exposure to water or use of aggressive household products, daily massage with Sweet Almond Oil will help them become strong and healthy again. 

Sweet Almond Oil is rich in vitamin E, zinc, potassium, iron, vitamin B and essential fatty acids. Sweet Almond oil is often used as a base in the formulation of nail-strengthening oils and serum and is proven to deliver excellent results even after only a few applications. 

Since one of the primary causes of brittle nails is mineral deficiency, Sweet Almond oil can be of great help when it comes to replenishing the missing minerals and restoring the vitality of your nails.

Here it is worth mentioning that paying attention to what you eat, is just as important as topical application of plant oils (or any other product rich in minerals and vitamins). How you nourish your body from the inside always reflects on the outside. 

How To: Use it as a cuticle oil or as a hand creme. Massage for a few minutes until fully absorbed. Ideally, apply before bed to allow the oil to work its magic while you sleep.

If your goal is to revive your nails and improve their overall condition, the place, where you need to deliver nutrients is the nail matrix (situated right below the cuticle). We recommend applying Vitamin E on the cuticles and massaging it in really well, to ensure maximum absorption.

As many of you know, biotin is among the most popular vitamin for hair, skin and nails. Biotin (also known as Vitamin H) strengthens and thickens the nails by improving keratin structure. Apart from that biotin is believed to speed up nail and hair growth (added bonus for all of us who want long, shiny locks).

If you don't want to take supplements with biotin, there are plenty of natural sources of this beautifying vitamin. Some of them include eggs, almonds, cauliflower, cucumber, carrots, whole grains, tomatoes, salmon, milk, soybeans, strawberries, lentils, oats and walnuts. 

PS: If you decide to opt for supplements, have in mind that biotin has to be taken for at least 3 months before you start seeing positive results.
