Introducing #AskLaMav

The Idea

Since we receive a lot of questions via email and on social media on a daily basis, we thought it might be useful if we start answering in the form of a weekly blog post series called AskLamav. We’ll be discussing all kinds of beauty related questions, that we find interesting and worth talking about – focusing primarily on topics that you are interested in finding more about!

Solving Cosmetic Mysteries

So, who am I and why they put me “in charge” of solving cosmetic mysteries?

My name is
Lucy and I am currently working as Online Marketing Assistant and Customer Care agent at LaMav, however; my education background prepared me for a career in a completely different field. I graduated Molecular biology and Medicinal Chemistry, worked in several labs, but as you know – sometimes life has different plans for you. Long story short: I’ve been into everything related to cosmetics for the past 6-7 years I am constantly reading and looking for something new to learn and try. I experiment a lot and I thought it might be helpful if I research some of the topics that you are interested in (and I do some “tests” on myself), and give you more information in a brief weekly blog post.

Find Your Own Best Solution, but Let Me Help

There is one general rule that I always follow and I truly believe in it – what works for me, may not work for you, because we are all different, and so are our needs. And I am emphasizing that because there is no such thing as “panacea”, there is no universal truth, or a solution that works in 100% of the cases. But it doesn’t hurt trying (at least, not always) – it may turn out to be your personal holy grail, you just have to learn to take informative decisions and to be willing to experiment. We’re all unique!

That being said, I’ll try my best to help you with the beauty, skincare, anti-ageing and makeup questions you might have. My education and experience might be able to help you reach the solution that’s right for you sooner rather than later.

Feel free to email me anytime (lucy@lamav.com) or reach us on social media using the hashtag #AskLamav with proposals for topics you would like us to discuss in our AskLamav blog series. I’ll do my best to gather as much information as possible and offer an objective opinion.

Look out for the first post from the series which will be out next Friday and I’ll be talking about Oil Pulling. Stay tuned!
