Every once in a while a social tsunami wave hits the internet in the form of viral challenges. This time…that tsunami is cold, ice cold…
By now if you haven’t seen it, you know what it is – the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Just check Facebook feed and it’ll be hard NOT see at least one recent participant drenching themselves with a bucket of ice water.
Why are they doing this?
Well, it started out as a fundraiser campaign for the
ALS Association on July 29, 2014 and has since garnered major social media attention by everyone…and I mean everyone…just look…
The rules are simple enough:
1. Once you’re challenged you have 24 hours to participate by dumping a bucket of ice water over your head (and filming it as proof).
2. If you deny the challenge, you must donate $100 to the ALS charity of your choice.
3. Then, you must nominate up to 3 more people who must either accept the challenge or donate.
