Sustainability has been part of LAMAV since the very beginning — long before it became a beauty industry expectation. As Australia’s first Certified Organic skincare brand, our mission has always been to create formulas that nourish the skin while protecting the world that inspires our ingredients. We don’t take shortcuts, and we don’t separate sustainability from performance. For us, both must exist together. 

At LAMAV, sustainability isn’t a trend or a marketing line — it is the foundation our brand was built on more than a decade ago. As Australia’s first Certified Organic skincare brand, our purpose has always been to create powerful, bio-active skincare that supports your skin while protecting the world it belongs to. 

Our sustainability promise reflects who we are: transparent, responsible, and deeply connected to nature. 

As a brand, LAMAV has embraced values of sustainability - from how our ingredients are sourced to our processes, packaging and product development. We are forging a new path to become as green and eco-friendly as possible.  

In our commitment to minimise our environmental impact, we continue to drive positive sustainable changes as we grow.  

 This includes: 

  • Selecting recyclable materials for both internal and external packaging such as glass, aluminium and PCR wherever possible.  

  • Selecting sustainably sourced materials for our beauty tools such as beechwood for our Body Gua Sha, sustainably sourced bamboo for our Garshana Dry Body Brush and teak wood and brass used to create our Kansa Wand. 

  • Developing re-usable accessories such as our Exfoliating Mitt and Tan Application Mitt. 

  • Converting warehouse practices to paperless wherever possible. 

To recycle your LAMAV packaging at home, simply follow the below steps: 

  • Remove fixtures and fittings 

  • Rinse in soapy water to remove residue as best as you can 

  • Place in the relevant kerbside recycle bin 

  • Re-use our glass bottles wherever possible around the home 

We also offer recycling via return to LAMAV. Return a minimum of 5 LAMAV skincare (face only) or makeup products to the address below and we will reward your sustainability efforts with a free product of your choice!
