BAKUCHIOL 4% Natural Retinol Alternative

I was wrong to think that you shouldn't use oil products on acne-prone skin like mine. I am so glad I sent an enquiry to lamav to seek help and Lucy was so kind to explain in detail. So glad I found lamav, I can truly say it has healed my acne in 6 months. I use 5 products - Double Cleanse with Marula Oil and Sweet Orange Balancing Cleanser, then use Probiotic Toner. After cleansing I use Daily Vitamin C Serum during the day and alternate Bakuchiol 4% Booster and Omega Oil at night. I have a long way to go, but my chin is looking so much better. I will continue to use these products as they have been life changing for me.

This serum is lovely to use. Light weight, light smell, absorbs well and I have included it often over the last 2 years in my routine. I don't use Vitamin A products but wanted to start and preferred that this is natural with no side effects at all. No stinging or peeling skin ever. Very happy with this and whilst I did not do a before and after I believe my skin has benefited from this as a booster.

I was recommended trying bakuchiol by a family member after I started looking into Retinol products for my acne prone skin. After I have had great success with other La Mav products I gave this one a go and absolutely love it. It feels so great on the skin, and it definitely packs a punch. My skin dried out quite a lot after I started using it, so I would recommend starting with a few times per week and building up to every other night if it works well with your skin. It's still absolutely effective this way. It's a great price point for this product and I will be purchasing another bottle.

Great product, gentle but effective

This is the first time I've tried bakuchiol, I was bit suspicious because it is a natural Vitamin A. I was desperate as dermatologist prescribed Vitamin A has made my skin extremely dry and irritated. I have acne prone skin and I have seen my skin is a lot calmer since using Lamav Bakuchiol. Certainly will keep using it.

Im 40, I use Bakuchiol to soften wrinkles. I used to use a serum containing 1.25% Bakuchiol and was curious to try something with a slightly higher dose. I find this one, at 4% is noticeably better. this serum is LUXE! I use it at night under a retinol cream and it helps my skin to tolerate the retinol. In fact it helps my skin tolerate it so well I can now use retinol on my neck too which I was never able to do before.
I also use this in the morning. I really like how I can use it all the way under my eyes and it absorbs right in. I know that using such an expensive product morning and night seems a little OTT, but I'd rather invest in quality that actually works.

Retinols are best for the skin, but this natural alternative is a miracle product for me. I have been using it for the last 5 weeks, to treat acne and hyperpigmentation.
