Homemade Skin Lightening Scrub

Are you on
the hunt for natural ways to get evenly toned, luminous, healthy looking skin?
If the answer is yes, you have come to the right place! Today we’ll be making a
very simple but super effective lightening facial scrub that will help not only
people who struggle with
melasma, sun-induced hyperpigmentation or age-related
dark spots, but also those of you who simply want clearer complexion and
radiant face. We promise this scrub/mask is easy to make, 100% chemical-free and super
effective!

The Recipe

Since we
believe that
“simplicity is the key” today’s
recipe includes 3 ingredients only (2 of which you can find in your kitchen).

10 ml Pure Organic Rosehip oil
1 tea spoon brown sugar

1 tbsp oats

When you have all ingredients mix them together in a small
cup and stir with a wooden spoon/stick, until fully homogenized.

Note: Always make sure the natural plant oils you are buying are 100% Organic! This is the ultimate guarantee that their qualities are fully preserved!

How To Use It

Start by applying
a small amount of the scrub on your face and massage gently, with circular
motions. Once you are done exfoliating, apply some more of the mixture, until
your face is fully covered. Leave it for 15-30 minutes (enough time for you to
lie back and relax with some nice music and a scented candle). Finally, rinse
with lukewarm water and tap dry with a cotton towel.

Once you are
done, don’t forget to apply your favorite moisturizer!

… and if you want an extra dose of
Vitamin C for even better skin brightening effects, I might have something for you…

The Benefits

Even though your
epidermal cells shed on a daily basis, there are certain factors (age,
increased sebum secretion, sun damage, etc.) that can slow down the natural
process of cell shedding, making your skin look dull and flaky. According to
beauty gurus, one of the best ways to keep your skin healthy and luminous, and
to say
“adios” to uneven complexion,
dry patches and clogged pored,is by
inviting the almighty facial scrub into your beauty arsenal. By removing the
dead cells from the skin surface, you stimulates cell turnover and you also
allow the newly formed cells to show on the surface of your face, making it
super smooth and bright!

And now, some
more info about my all-time-favorite skin elixir and why we have chosen it to
be the
beauty hero in today’s recipe!
Let me introduce you the
Pure Organic Rosehip Oil!

The biggest
advantage of Rosehip oil when compared to other natural plant oils is the high
amount of
Vitamin C it contains. Aside from being a very powerful antioxidant,
Vitamin C works as skin lightening agent, which with regular use, significantly
improves skin’s clarity and diminished dark spots and hyperpigmentation. Vitamin
C also aids in the collagen synthesis and this way restores skin’s elasticity,
smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles.

Another reason why
we worship Rosehip oil is because it is super rich in essential fatty acids
(over 70%), beta carotene and other bio-active natural compounds that can do
wonders for your skin. Rosehip oil’s ability to maintain the integrity of the hydro-lipid barrier of our skin (crucial for keeping it hydrated and protected from external
damage) makes it a standout skin care hero!
