As winter comes to a close it’s time to celebrate the change of the seasons, looking forward to all the joy that Spring brings. The Spring Equinox marks the end of winter promising new beginnings and sun-kissed days. Various countries honour Spring Equinox, celebrating the first astronomical day of Spring, where the day and night are equal - approximately 12 hours each.

Spring equinox is the perfect occasion to reset your health and wellness, shedding any lazy winter habits and focusing on balance for your mind, body and soul. Thankfully, as the temperature gradually increases and the sun shows itself a little earlier each morning, it makes it easier to find motivation to get out of bed and embrace the sunshine. Start your Spring reset with these wellness rituals to wake your body up from hibernation.


1. HYDRATE

Start your day with a big glass of room temperature water. Drinking more water is a no-brainer, we all know that drinking approximately 8 glasses of water every day is vital for our health. Although a cold glass of water can feel refreshing, drinking cold water can cause blood vessels in the stomach and intestines to constrict, which isn’t beneficial when it comes to digestion. 6. SKINCARE FOR SPRING
